"Beautiful Scenery, Hard to Race"

4

The views and course are unparalleled. The cherry blossoms are usually at or near full bloom and the course runs near a lot of the popular monuments. Because of the distance and scenery, this race attracts a lot of people that normally don’t run races.

"Cherry Blossom 10 Mile 2018"

This was the first year I have taken part in the Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile run in Washington, DC. Entry can be earned through any of a couple different methods. First is the Lottery, where you just throw your name into the big hat and see if you're drawn on Lottery Day.

"Cherry Blossom 10 Miler"

I have run this race the past six years. I love the course. There is a lot of course support and the course is very scenic. The past two years transportation has been an issue. I was waiting at the Metro station with other runners and it never opened.

"Cherry Blossom"

I have had the pleasure of running this beautiful race for years, and it never disappoints. I really enjoyed looking at the cherry blossoms along Hains Point. They were beautiful. It just reminds you how special it is to live here in DC.

"See the blossoms in style!"

A spectacular course through the elegant cherry blossoms of Washington DC. Fast and flat and lots of crowd support. No better way to see beautiful downtown DC!

"Beautiful but difficult "

4

I PRed in this race. It was a beautiful course. It was a difficult run because of the large crowd in a smaller course (lots of 2 lane road) and lack of race edict (walkers starting in mile 2 that should have gotten over to the side or started in a later heat).

"Beautiful flat race"

5

I participated in the 10 Miler for the Credit Union Cherry Blossom race. It’s very flat and very fast. I enjoyed all the scenery including some of the monuments, the Kennedy Center, Watergate, and down to Haines Point under the blossoming trees.

"Beautiful and Fun Race"

Who wouldn't love running around the beautiful sights of D.C. and the blossoming cherry trees? I ran the 5K this year in hopes to run the 10 miler next year. The energy of all of the runners is amazing and the sights are breathtaking.
