"Outstanding event "

This is my 3rd year participating in this event, and it just keeps getting better. I really enjoyed the new venue along the Mission trail and definitely preferred a daylight race. Lots of volunteers, who stayed until the last of us crossed the finish line.

"Awesome Race! Even better after party!!!"

5

Great course! Well supported along the SA River. Great views that kept you focused and at the same time distracted from the pain. The finish line party is probably the best I've been to. Free food and booze! Lots of freebies/samples. This local race series beats all the bigger name races!

"Nice course, enjoyable after-party"

The humidity and the ever-present mosquitos along that stretch of riverwalk in parts made this a bit more challenging than most 5Ks, but the scenery was very nice and they had tons of free alcoholic beverages and energy drinks at the end.

"Great Race!"

I did the 5k, but know many people who did the longer distances. It was a beautiful run along the San Antonio South river walk. Course was well marked and had proper hydration stations. As always, Scallwompus has a great after party and finisher medals for all!

"Loved it!"

The race is awesome. The routes are good, the medals are amazing, the energy is above the level expected, the shirts are nice, the volunteers are friendly, the price is acceptable, but the after party is over the moon!

"Great people & amazing post race party!"

I ran the 10K. The venue was excellent having lots of real bathrooms and a huge pavilion. The course was enjoyable with nice natural scenery. The race director is a lot of fun and very energetic. The free food and booze afterward are fantastic!

"Nice rolling, scenic course"

The humidity and fog made this more challenging. This Clydesdale prefers temps in the 40s and below! The course parallels the San Antonio River and is very scenic (more so without fog!) and just enough hills to be challenging.
