"Awesome Race"

5

As the elder statesman for this race I highly recommend that everyone start preparing for next years race! I also agree with Melissa that you sign up and run any race that Trent directs! Bacon, Scrapple, Veggies I love them all!

"Bacon And Freeze Pops"

5

1st time running a race where you are given bacon halfwayish and a freeze pop at the end. Tough but fun. I will be back next year!

"Excellently Challenging "

Hot and humid because August, duh. A great race atmosphere, a challenging course, and actual bathrooms are 3 non-food reasons to run.

"A Trail Race with Bacon and Scrapple is a must run"

5

As a new trail runner, I thought a 7k (4.2 mile) race would be a smart first race. The vibe around this race is awesome. Great turnout of friendly, goofy runners running for teams Bacon, Scrapple or Veggie, while volunteers cook the meats that are available before, after and DURING the race.

"Unexplainable"

One must experience this race for themselves...words could never do it justice...good, bad, indifferent...it’s something you can not put into words.

"Naylor Mill 7k Bacon Run a wonderful surrpsie"

A terrific challenging course. Well organized and marked. Bacon aid station, freeze pops, wet wash cloths and donuts. A summer highlight!

"Work for the Bacon"

5

The new reverse course made it more trail and more tears. Still the most difficult 7k trail race on the Eastern Shore. A lot of single track and tons of steep climbs and drops. The copious amounts of bacon at the aid station in the middle and finish line makes this trail race EPIC!

"Not for Newbies. "

Naylor Mill 7K is a fantastically run fun event on some of the toughest, most technical trails in the area. Folks will be surprised to find declines and twisting inclines on the flat Eastern Shore of Maryland. Two aid stations refilling handhelds (cup-less race), and passing out bacon!

"An absolute blast!"

This is my 2nd year running the Naylor Mill Bacon run and I'm so hooked! Don't let the 7k distance fool you. This is not a walk in the park but it's tame enough for beginning trail runners.
