"Gorgeous views, Fantastic volunteers, great food and the friendliest people you could ever find!"

From the start with Native Americans beating the drums to a beat that helped create a great pace to begin to climbing an enormous hill that held the rock evolving into Crazy Horse I knew this would be a once in a life experience!

"marathon - The journey washed over me with an awesome experience. 2nd marathon at age 70"

Super trail conditions and volunteer help. The elevation gain and the altitude required every bit of endurance that I trained for but the reward was worth it. I will be high for months!

"Fantastic!"

Fantastic race, TONS of amazing volunteers, more aid stations and (thank you) porta potties than I’ve ever seen at a race anywhere. I fully plan on flying back to make this an annual event on my calendar. Great way to finish out my race season.

I ran the marathon. It was a challenge with the altitude but a spectacularly beautiful course!

"The views!!"

5

This course is breathtaking. I’ve run it twice and might run it again. After the first three miles and a few hills, it’s a beautiful downhill trail over a few bridges and sprinkled with pine and aspens. Finishes on a city street. Great crowds and well organized!

"Friendly scenic race"

Friendly volunteers and staff from start to finish. The course was both challenging in some parts and beautiful in others.
