This was my very 1st Marathon back in 2016 and I fell in love lol. No but really, the course, the directors CIC, how it’s all organized, the expo and of course the huge medals, this has been my favorite and must do Marathon every year. So now this is my 4th time doing this marathon and so that should tell you a lot.
A little about the course, it is hilly but it’s a beautiful course. The crowd support was great this year, even with the weather. This year it was cold with some raining and cold wind. But each year that I have done this, the weather has been different. The water stops are great and they have nutrition from oranges, bananas, honeystinger, pickles, pickle juice and much more. They have pacers for marathons & half marathoners.
You get a race shirt and finishers medal. The marathon medal is huge and very detailed. If you run on Saturday & Sunday, you will also get a challenge medal. I did the 5K on Saturday & the Marathon on Sunday.
I did this marathon in 2016, 2017, 2018 and now 2019.
If you choose the VIP package you will also love it. The VIP is before & after the race, breakfast before, and all kinds of food afterward, as well as massages. The race finish line party brings you indoors plenty of room for everyone to sit, stand, stretch and meet up afterwards.
If you have not done this Marathon/Half marathon, definitely add it to your list of races to do.

Top Tips:
Be ready for any weather. I have done this race 4 times & each year the weather was different.
