This was a very well-organized race. The one complaint I have, and for me it is a big one, is that a good portion of the race was described to be on "gravel" terrain. The "gravel" was more like large rocks. As someone coming back from an ankle injury, I wouldn't have signed up for this race had I known this. Besides the inaccurate description, I enjoyed the course and felt that the aid stations were more plentiful than a lot of races I've run, which was a great surprise. Mentally prepare for the hills at miles 9-10. Everyone talks about the big hill at mile 4, but I was super surprised when I hit super steep hills at the end of the race.
