I like that this course is fast and fun, but still a challenge! The first and third miles have solid hills in them. The first hill is from 0.0 to 0.75, and it’s steeper than the second hill, but feels easier to me. Then there’s a nice flat/slightly downhill stretch between 0.75 and 2.4, with a water stop at 2.2, before the second hill. This one is more of a slow burn, and it always feels a lot harder to me than the first. Once you hit 3.0, it’s a downhill sprint back to the finish! Hotdogs and chili and available after the race, and awards go to the top finishers in each age group! This was my second year running, and I’ll be back next year as well!
