"First, second, and third triathlon. A "Great Escape" from real life!"

A sprint triathlon is totally doable. 400 meter pool swim (only 5 ft deep just in case), 12 mile bike, 3.2 mile run. The course is challenging, but fun. It is Jefferson City so you will find hills! The addition of Ultramax timing after the first year was AMAZING.

"Favorite event"

This is one of the best organized events that I compete in! Routes are marked well. Volunteers are helpful and supportive. The pool is warm! Huge positive! Course is hilly and challenging. Sprint distances are perfect. 400 m swim. 12 mile bike. 5k run.

"Fast, challenging, and fun!"

I raced the sprint.
Start: Well organized with a thorough but succinct brief before the race started. Plenty of volunteers on hand for marking, check-in, organization, and information.

"Fun, Scenic and Hilly!"

Very fun event - this was a great event for beginning triathletes who don't want to swim in the open water their first race. My daughters and I raced as a team and had a blast. Well run event!

"JC Triathlon"

I have competed in this race for 3 years. This is usually a great race! You get a medal and nice shirt and everyone is very nice. This year was a different experience for me. I had an issue on the bike course and was unable to finish.

"First Triathlon "

This was my first Triathlon and I loved it. The course was clearly marked and pretty scenic. Also very hilly! The run to the prison was pretty nice as well. The volunteers, police, and staff did a great job!

"Great Race"

This race is well thought out! Safety first is important and the Director put a lot of effort into that. It is a challenging course with the hills, hard to get into a cycling or running groove because of the hills, and I say that as a good thing, it pushes you.

"Challenging spring in a welcoming community"

We drove down from St. Louis, MO - this was my wife's first race, I've been doing tri for years. Immediately we were greeted by the RD at packet pickup, extremely friendly, recommending places to go and tour, where to eat.
